St David's Canoeists Compete in the Olympic Hopes Regatta

Six of our College canoeists are currently participating in the 2021 Olympic Hopes Regatta in Racice, Czechia.

Theo Dreyer, Tomé Dos Santos, Nicholas Erwee, Jordan Klopper, and Luke Salmon are part of a team of fifteen aspiring South African paddlers who join the international canoeing stage to test their skills and maximise their experience against competitors from around the world. 

Nicholas Erwee and Luke Salmon will be paddling in the U16 group, and Theo Dreyer, Tomé Dos Santos, and Jordan Klopper are competing in the U15 group. 

The regatta begins on the 10th of September and runs until the 12th.

We wish our boys the best of luck and are extremely proud of them for qualifying to compete at such a prestigious level.
