Old Boys Basketball Match

The annual Old Boys basketball match took place on the afternoon of Saturday, the 15th of January. 

The match has been a tradition since basketball began at St David's where the current 1st team battles it out against a team of our alumni. The Old Boys team has been the reigning champions since 2018. 

Both sides played an incredible game, with the scores remaining very close throughout the match. Each team would hold the lead for a few minutes before the opposing side took it back. After a long and hard-fought battle, the 2022 1st team managed to score enough points to secure the win, with a final score of 44-40.

Every player enjoyed the match greatly, and their love for the game demonstrates the value of the basketball programme for the young athletes at St David's Marist Inanda and those that have since graduated to beyond our gates.
