Celebrating Achievements: Boys Excelling in Polo and Music Competitions

We are thrilled to share the latest achievements of our talented boys who have been making waves in both the sporting and music arenas. Their hard work, dedication, and exceptional skills have earned them well-deserved recognition and accolades. Let's celebrate their success together!

Representing South Africa in Polo

The South African Polo Association recently announced the selection of three outstanding individuals to represent the South African Junior Boys Polo Team. Congratulations to Weston Davis, Charlie Dewar, and James Dewey for their remarkable achievement! They will be showcasing their prowess in a Junior International match against the Zambian Schools Team from June 30th to July 2nd, 2023, at the Lubombo Polo Club, Mazabuka.

We applaud Weston, Charlie, and James for their passion and love for the sport of polo. Their selection is a testament to their talent and hard work. Let's cheer them on as they proudly don their South African blazers on Fridays, carrying forward our tradition of excellence across sporting codes.

Musical Triumphs

Our boys have also been shining brightly in the realm of music, participating in prestigious competitions and leaving an indelible mark on the audiences they performed for. We are immensely proud to recognize their accomplishments and share their musical journey.

Raymond Linington, with his mesmerizing vocals, has an A in the Vocal Category of the renowned Rodean Yamaha Music Competition. His talent and dedication are truly commendable.

In the Piano Category of the same competition, Jack Latilla-Campbell astounded the audience and judges alike, securing an exceptional A+ symbol. His musical prowess is an inspiration to us all.

Austin Pillay has made us proud by advancing to the semi-final round of the National Eisteddfod, a testament to his remarkable talent. Additionally, he was awarded an A+ symbol in the Piano Category of the Roedean Competition. Austin's achievements showcase his dedication and commitment to his craft.

Last but certainly not least, Tristan Hellberg has proven himself to be an exceptional musician. Not only did he reach the semi-final round of the National Eisteddfod, but he also achieved an outstanding A+ symbol in the Piano Category of the Roedean Competition. Furthermore, Tristan's vocal abilities earned him an incredible A++ symbol in the Voice Category, and he went on to win the Voice Category! We congratulate Tristan for his remarkable accomplishments and wish him continued success in his musical journey.

These boys serve as an inspiration to their peers and our entire school community. Their achievements highlight the importance of nurturing talent, pursuing passions, and striving for excellence in all endeavours.
