Celebrating the President’s Awards Recipients
We are proud to announce and celebrate the accomplishments of six young men from St David’s Marist Inanda who have achieved various levels of the prestigious President's Award. This esteemed honour is regarded as one of the world's leading youth achievement awards, emphasising self-development and the formation of responsible global citizens. The President's Award aligns perfectly with our school's Marist values, making it especially significant.
The President's Award places significant emphasis on consistent effort and long-term commitment to personal growth and service. It consists of four sections: Service, Development of Skills, Physical Recreation, and an Adventurous Journey. Additionally, the Gold Level requires participants to complete a Residential Service Project.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following individuals:
- Cruz King: Cruz's dedication and consistent work spread over six months have earned him the Bronze Award.
- Nicholas Delport, Michael Elfick, and Aryan Bhatt: These three individuals have been awarded the Silver Award for their consistent work spanning 12 months.
- Theo Dreyer and Jack Latilla-Campbell: We are delighted that these fine young men have achieved the Gold Award. Their commitment and accomplishments over an extended period of 18 months are testament to their character. We are proud to add their names to the esteemed President's Award Board in our school's hall, recognising their exceptional achievements.
These young men serve as shining examples to our entire school community, inspiring us with their commitment to personal growth, community service, and global citizenship. Their achievements in the President's Award reflect their character, determination, and passion for making a positive impact on the world around them.
