Osmond wins the 2023 Inter-house Gala
The first inter-house event of the year took place on Friday, 13th January, with our College boys battling it out in the pool at the annual Inter-house Gala.
The Inter-house Gala is always an event that the College boys greatly enjoy, and the enthusiastic war-cries and cheers can be heard across campus. The students showed immense House pride and exemplified good sportsmanship. This is the second gala under the eight-House system, and every House brought their 'A-game' in the pool and on the stands. Many of the Houses teamed up in their war-cries to boost their volume, and it was wonderful to see this teamwork across competing Houses.
After an afternoon of speedy swimming, great effort, and extraordinary team and Marist spirit, Osmond were ultimately crowned the winners of the first inter-house event of the year, with a total of 140 points.
