A Message of Gratitude and Excitement from the Preparatory School
Welcome back to Term 1 2024, parents, staff and boys. As we reflect and ponder the term and the year ahead, let us show gratitude. Gratitude for being together again, and back at school. Gratitude to our parents and the teachers who create excitement for learning and a loving and nurturing environment.
Term 1 brings renewed opportunities in academics, culture, and sports. We are excited to be back on the sports field, and in the music and art spaces. Thanks to Mr Makola and his team of coaches and teachers (JP & SP) for organising a busy term of sporting and cultural activities.
Special mention to our Grade 00, 1, 4 & 7s: Grade 00s for the beginning of their Marist journey; Grade 1s for starting "big school"; our Grade 4s for the introduction into the Senior Prep; and the Grade 7s - this being their "swan song" year, and their final year in the Prep school. May the boys immerse themselves in what it means to be Marist and take every opportunity that comes their way.
