This term was an especially busy one for our College students, with a packed Sports programme, numerous Cultural endeavours, and the demands of academics. Our students not only actively engaged with these activities, but excelled in all spheres and we congratulate every student for their achievements thus far.

Chess Awards

Our Chess teams competed in the Dainfern College Chess Tournament, and we congratulate the following students on their results: 

Team A: 

  • Raphael Felix - Board 1 Award for winning the most matches in the Board 1 position
  • Christian Pagenkopf - Board 4 Award for winning the most matches in the Board position
  • Team A placed 4th overall in the tournament A division.

Team B:

  • Ansh Metha – Board 1 Award for winning the most matches in the Board 1 position
  • Daniel Burman – Board 2 Award for winning the most matches in the Board 2 position
  • Team B won the B division tournament.

Music Awards

  • Shaun Hsu (Grade 11) was awarded his certificate for Grade 5 theory from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Shaun passed this examination with a commendable ‘merit’.
  • Avumile Nguqu (Grade 8) was awarded his Grade 3 in Violin Performance from Trinity College London which he receives with distinction.
