Matric results
The combined efforts of staff, parents and pupils ensure that St David’s Marist Inanda continues to produce excellent matric results. Our boys write the Independent Examination Board (IEB) examinations.
The St David's Matric class of 2020 achieved a 100% pass rate, with a 97% bachelor degree pass rate and 222 distinctions. Nicholas Carr, Luke Lawson, Brendan Craven, and Jaydin Marais each achieved eight distinctions. Nicholas Carr and Luke Lawson ranked as IEB Outstanding Achievers, both achieving 99% for Mathematics.
In 2019, our boys achieved a 100% pass rate, a 98% bachelor degree pass rate and 252 distinctions. Three pupils, Miguel Torres, Luca Martini and Joseph Walbeck, achieved eight distinctions each.
This followed similar results in 2018, when there were again more than 200 distinctions in total, with Gianluca Rizzo, Mohamed Fayaaz Cassim and Max Matheussen each achieving eight.
Merrick Hughes, our head boy and 1st team rugby captain in 2017, also achieved eight matric distinctions, including 100% for Mathematics.
