Robotics
Robotech is the space where students are encouraged to work with their hands. Students identify parts, figure out their functions and build simple electronic circuits.
Some of the life skills taught include soldering and making use of screwdrivers. The main objective is for students to build their own robots. Once students have finished building their robots, they are introduced to the fundamental concepts of computer science and challenged to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. More than a traditional introduction to programming, it is a rigorous, engaging and approachable subject that explores many of the fundamental ideas of computing, so all students understand how these concepts are transforming the world in which we live.
