Sporting Excellence Beyond Our Gates
St David's Marist Inanda has been proudly represented across numerous sporting codes and around the world by our College students. Michael Jervis has won numerous awards as part of the Junior South African team in Track Cycling, Charlie Dewar has participated in many tournaments as part of the South African Junior Polo team, and Warwick Bradford proudly represented Gauteng in the South African Rock Climbing Provincial Competition. We are immensely proud of these Marist gentlemen!

Our College debaters have enjoyed great success over the past months, including Deputy Head Boy, Katlego Mokgosi's participation in the World Schools' Debating Championships as part of Team South Africa, and the St David's Senior Debate Team winning the Gauteng Provincial Debating Championships.

The Feast Day of St Marcellin Champagnat was celebrated on Monday, 6 June starting with a beautiful combined Champagnat Day Mass in the St David's Quad. Mass was followed by the traditional Champagnat Day activities, including many fun stalls for the Prep boys and soccer games for Prep and College boys as well as a staff game.

The young men of the College partook in a Conversation Assembly around period poverty on Friday, 27 May, with guest speakers Candice Chirwa, Jane Henry-Naiho, Liza Verberg, and Eusebius McKaiser. Following this, on Monday, 30 May, the College students then held a collection for menstrual products for donation to various organisations fighting against period poverty.
