House and Portfolio Leader Announcement

The 2022 House and Portfolio Heads were announced in an assembly held on Friday 5 November. The new leaders are taking charge for 2022 as well as the new Marist tradition of the house and school drums. The assembly also provided the opportunity for the formal introduction of the Marist Gold rose, a rose registered through Ludwig's Roses by the PTA as part of our 80th birthday celebrations.

Grade 9s Raise Awareness About Period Poverty

During the third term, the Grade 9s were given a Life Sciences project focusing on menstruation and period poverty called ‘Period poverty to period positivity’, which included the creation of a video or poster campaign aimed at normalising the conversation about mensuration, as well as running a sanitary product collection.
