This term was an especially busy one for our College students, with a packed Sports programme, numerous Cultural endeavours, and the demands of academics. Our students not only actively engaged with these activities, but excelled in all spheres and we congratulate every student for their achievements thus far. 

Our athletes have showcased remarkable dedication and prowess throughout 2023, and the upcoming sporting events in 2024 promise to be nothing short of spectacular, as our young sportsmen are already fully involved and sparing no effort across sporting codes.

In a significant milestone for St David’s Marist Inanda, we proudly announce that we have been nominated in two distinguished categories for the 2023 Standard Bank Top Women Awards. The awards, in their 20th anniversary year, celebrate influential leaders and organisations that promote gender equality and women's empowerment across diverse sectors.

Inanda Cup, the prestigious water polo tournament, is approaching its climax with the under-14 and prep school divisions providing thrilling action for spectators and players alike. As the competition reached the semifinal stage, St John's and Affies secured their spots in the U14 final, while St Stithians and St David's emerged as the prep school finalists. The Pharoah Inanda Hoops basketball tournament has reached its business stages, with Sunday featuring the highly anticipated semifinals in both the U18 and U15 sections. The tournament has been a whirlwind of thrilling action, and as we head into the crucial phases of the competition, the excitement is palpable.

Montrose Primary school, playing under the name Montrose Meteors retained their title at The Cricket Company St David’s Marist Inanda primary schools T10 tournament on Saturday, beating the Temba Bavuma Foundation-supported Temba Tigers by 33 runs in the final.

The long weekend kicked off with a bang as the 2023 St David's Marist Inanda Festival got underway on Thursday. The opening day saw thrilling U15 and U18 basketball matches in the #InandaHoops Classic Challenge basketball tournament, sponsored by PHAROAH AUTO, as well as U12 and U14 water polo games in the Inanda Cup tournaments. The action was non-stop, and there was no shortage of highlights to kick off this exciting event.
