On Friday 15 October, St David's began its journey into the new House system of eight houses, which will be fully implemented next year. Students were allocated into their new Houses, met their new House Directors and tutors, and received a House buff to begin to represent their Houses with pride.

The Heads of School for 2022 were announced on Thursday 14 October at the annual Speech Evening, Prizegiving, and Matric Valediction. 

On the evening of Thursday 14 October, the students of St David's Marist Inanda, their parents, and staff gathered in the quad for the annual College Speech Evening, Prizegiving, and Matric Valediction.

The Matric Rite of Passage and House Dinners were held on the evening of Tuesday 12 October. This evening was an opportunity for the Matrics to enjoy each others' company and reflect on their school journey, and to be formally welcomed into the Marist Old Boys' Association. 

The Matrics attended their final school assembly on the morning of Monday 11 October, and had the opportunity to say farewell to their time as students of St David's Marist Inanda. The assembly was followed by the reveal of this year's matric dance theme, as well as a breakfast for the Matrics, their parents, and teachers.

Over the 22nd and 23rd of September, the Prep school and Mini-Marist held celebrations for Heritage Day, including a drum workshop, beading, clay pot-making, gumboot dancing, marimba performances, and a lekker braai.

On Monday the 20th of September, a group of our Junior Prep boys received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time.  

The major production for the Foundation Phase, Rafiki, was produced and filmed during Term 2. The finished film is available to see on the 1st of October through purchase via Quicket.
