Over the 22nd and 23rd of September, the Prep school and Mini-Marist held celebrations for Heritage Day, including a drum workshop, beading, clay pot-making, gumboot dancing, marimba performances, and a lekker braai.

On Monday the 20th of September, a group of our Junior Prep boys received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time.  

The major production for the Foundation Phase, Rafiki, was produced and filmed during Term 2. The finished film is available to see on the 1st of October through purchase via Quicket. 

The College Inter-House Athletics were held on Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th, and saw a wonderful turnout of boys across all grades and houses.

The 2022 Matric Leaders were announced in an assembly held on Thursday, 9th of September. We congratulate the 26 students who will lead the College with the support of their fellow Matric classmates. 

Six of our College canoeists are currently participating in the 2021 Olympic Hopes Regatta in Racice, Czechia.

It is with great sadness that we inform the Marist community of the passing away of college teacher, Mr Herbert Mudzingwa. Mr Mudzingwa truly epitomized what it means to be a Marist gentleman. He will be missed by all staff, his students, the Old Boys that he taught, and every member of the Marist community. The impact he has left in our family, and our hearts, means that he will never truly be forgotten.

Prep Sports Day was held during the last two days of Term 2, with boys partaking in cross-country and tag-rugby, and having a great deal of fun!
