Mathematics at St David’s Marist Inanda has been flourishing throughout the past weeks – from friendly competitions to challenges and Olympiads, the Marist boys have been demonstrating just how good they are at all things Maths!

We congratulate one of our old boys, Temba Bavuma, on his historic appointment as the new captain for the One-Day and T20 Protea teams. This achievement is incredible and well-deserved.

The 7^th annual Pancake Race for Shrove Tuesday took place on the 16^th of February.

Lent began on the 17^th with an Ash Wednesday mass in the St David’s quad. Mass was attended in person by our matrics, with the rest of the school participating online via the livestream.

The annual Blood Drive was held on Thursday 25 February. The Blood Drive was organized through the Wellness Clinic and SANBS, and was extremely successful.

On Thursday, 25 February, St David's held its annual Sprayathon before breaking up for mid-term. The Sprayathon is held each year to raise awareness and funds for the CANSA foundation.

We are exceptionally proud of the results achieved by our matric class of 2020 in the IEB NSC examinations, and celebrate their academic excellence and personal character. St David’s achieved a 100% pass rate, with a 97% bachelor degree pass rate.

Congratulations to Jack Juds on receiving a scholarship to attend the University of Michigan in 2021.
