Mini-Marists, a hub of early childhood education excellence, has been buzzing with activity this term, bringing innovative changes to our classrooms and hosting exciting events that engage and inspire our young learners. Here's a glimpse of the latest happenings at our institution.

In a bid to further enhance the growth and development of their students, the dedicated teaching staff recently embarked on a day of intensive KAGAN training. This training day, described as both fun-filled and highly informative, aimed to equip educators with new strategies to engage their students effectively, all within just a minute or two. The result of this approach are that students are not only actively involved in their learning but also experience significant personal growth in terms of self-esteem, social skills, leadership skills, and communication skills.

In a term filled with athletic prowess and dedication, St David's School is proud to showcase its students' remarkable sporting highlights. From hockey to rugby, chess to tennis, and even canoeing, the school's athletes have excelled in various disciplines, making their mark both locally and internationally.

St David's Marist Inanda is dedicated to fostering leadership and citizenship development among its students, providing them with a diverse range of opportunities to grow as individuals and community contributors. The cycle of school life is mostly predictable. We all know the skeleton of the final academic term – what sports and culturals happen when, tournaments and festivals, matric prelims and then finals, matric valedictory and the end of Prep school for the Grade 7s, First Holy Communion for the Grade 3s and Confirmation for the Grade 11s, the shift (in both College and Prep) in student leadership from Grade 12 to 11 and from Grade 7 to 6 boys, the Grade 9 Journey, exams and assessments across the school, welcome evenings for next year’s new boys, and the final farewells typical of year-end as we hand out final reports and move on in anticipation of the summer holiday, Christmas and New Year celebrations.

At St David's School, spirituality plays a vital role in shaping the lives of our students and fostering a sense of community. We are delighted to share some of the recent spiritual events that have brought our school community closer together and deepened our connection to our faith.

In the first week of July an extraordinary gathering of over 100 St David's Marist Old Boys came together in #London, creating an unforgettable evening of nostalgia and camaraderie.

Our Junior Prep boys wowed audiences in the performance of A Marvelous Marist Mystery. The play, which was written and produced by our talented Junior Prep staff brought out the best in our boys and showcased their wonderful talents.
