Celebrating Our Heritage in the Prep
The boys of the Prep school enjoyed Heritage Day celebrations on Friday 23rd September, including gumboot and Tradtitonal Zulu dancing, lots of authentic South African cuisine, and the ever-wonderful Drum Café.

The Feast Day of St Marcellin Champagnat was celebrated on Monday, 6 June starting with a beautiful combined Champagnat Day Mass in the St David's Quad. Mass was followed by the traditional Champagnat Day activities, including many fun stalls for the Prep boys and soccer games for Prep and College boys as well as a staff game.

The Prep House Leaders for 2022 were announced in an awards assembly held on Wednesday 20 October. The new councilors for 2022 were announced, as well as the new Outreach Group for 2022, and the 2021 SACEE junior poetry writers were celebrated.

On Friday 15 October, St David's began its journey into the new House system of eight houses, which will be fully implemented next year. Students were allocated into their new Houses, met their new House Directors and tutors, and received a House buff to begin to represent their Houses with pride.
